Hi all: just a reminder that the 6th annual Hilltop spring clean-up is being held next Saturday the 28th, from 9am to 3pm. The weather looks a bit damp, but we'll hold the event anyways, unless it's pouring -- mist or sprinkles won't stop us!
Hope you can make it, and help improve the western route through the Reservation!

Spring Cleanup on the Hilltop!!
*********************
The Hilltop Conservancy will hold its 6th Annual Spring Clean-up in the
Reservation. This year's event will be a one day affair on Saturday, March
28th, from 9am to 3pm. If heavy rain is falling, the event will be held on
Sunday, March 29th. We are concentrating our efforts on the
western route through the Reservation where there is a great deal of work
to do.
Volunteers are asked to go to the end of Courter Lane in North Caldwell, and
proceed past the locked gate. A Conservancy member will be nearby -- just
follow the signs. Courter Lane intersects Mountain Avenue in North Caldwell.
There is a large parking lot just behind the ball field.
The Conservancy will provide large trash bags, and asks you to bring as
many small plastic ones as you can, like the ones you get from the grocery
store. Gloves, sturdy shoes, long pants, snacks and water are also
recommended. Count on getting dirty.
If you have tools you can bring, such as a spade, garden fork, or bowsaw,
they would be useful for digging out debris and cutting branches and brush that
currently block the route.
Kids are welcome. We look forward to seeing you and reconnecting with fellow
Hilltoppers as we continue cleaning up our Reservation.
