The Hilltop Reservation Master Plan documents the current conditions of the Hilltop, provides recommendations for improvements and establishes a 10-year action plan to implement those recommendations. It provides the basis to support future efforts that will address and improve the ecological health of the Reservation, enhance visitor experience, and maintain its natural state into the future.
The Hilltop Master Plan was developed from 2013 to 2015 with input from Conservancy members, the general public, other local stakeholders and Essex County. Initiatives to implement the plan’s highest-priority recommendations began in 2016, and continue today.
For more detail, see the below excerpts of the overall plan, which focus on the Reservation’s infrastructure and clean-up of items left over from institutional use. The complete plan is quite large (>1″ thick, hard copy only) — please contact us if you have questions or would like more information.
